Residential Academic Programs

Residential Academic Programs (RAPs) provide you with a shared learning and living experience in a community setting. Once admitted, you can look forward to:

  • Taking selected courses in your hall
  • Making friends who share your interests
  • Participating in educational and social events
  • Developing your own ideas in a small group setting

Baker Residential Academic Program offers lectures, field trips, and research opportunities for freshmen and sophomores interested in natural or environmental sciences.

Chancellor's Leadership Residential Academic Program (CLR) and Ethnic Living and Learning Community (ELLC) provides a multicultural residential community for students with a shared interest in leadership.

Farrand Residential Academic Program offers small seminar courses in the liberal arts, designed for first- and second-year students in the College of Arts and Sciences.

Global Studies Residential Academic Program (G-RAP) includes classes and programs with a global focus for freshmen pursuing international interests.

Kittredge Honors Program (KHP) is a community with small honors classes, advising, and cocurricular activities for students in the College of Arts & Sciences Honors Program.

Libby Arts Residential Academic Program is an artistic community offering courses in visual arts, theatre and dance, and film studies.

Sewall Residential Academic Program offers special courses, activities, and advising for freshmen and sophomores interested in American West culture and society.
