Andrews Hall green renovation celebration today, Oct. 27
A rededication ceremony for the newly renovated Andrews Hall will be held today, Tuesday, Oct. 27, beginning at 4 p.m. The “green” residence hall is 20 percent more energy efficient, 39 percent more water efficient and home to the first participant in CU’s Faculty in Residence program. The ceremony will include a talk by faculty resident Scot Douglass, music performed by Andrews Hall residents, tours of the residence hall and refreshments.

Manuel Laguna appointed interim dean of Leeds School of Business
Senior Associate Dean Manuel Laguna of the Leeds School of Business has been appointed interim dean effective Nov. 1. Laguna will assume the position of Dennis Ahlburg, who has accepted the presidency of Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. The Media One Professor of Management Science, Laguna joined the faculty of the Leeds School in 1991. Prior to serving as associate dean, Laguna held the chair of the systems division at Leeds. Laguna will serve as interim dean while the university launches a search to fill the permanent position.
