Implementation
The Flagship 2030 strategic plan was formally adopted by the University’s Board of Regents in November 2007. In February 2008, nine task forces comprised of faculty, staff and administrators were charged with creating action plans for implementing the core and flagship initiatives.
On September 9, 2008, the chairs and co-chairs of the nine task forces presented their final reports with recommendations for implementing the initiatives to the Chancellor’s Executive Committee and the Council of Deans at the 2030 Summit. Timetables and budget considerations were discussed for each of the recommendations. The nine task force reports are posted for your information and review.
The Chancellor, Provost, Vice Chancellors and Deans will now review the reports, assess the feasibility of the recommendations, identify which recommendations can be implemented immediately, and decide how best to set the stage for those which will be implemented on a short-term or long-term basis.
