Parking
A disability placard or license plate must be displayed in vehicles parked in disability parking spaces regardless of whether it is in a permit-controlled lot, an attendant-operated facility, or a meter. In permit-controlled lots, a permit for the lot must also be visible. Parking and Transportation Services' Permit Coordination section works with permanently or temporarily disabled persons to provide the best parking accommodations possible given the individual's circumstances and the limitations of the campus parking system. Parking and Transportation Services is one of the campus auxiliary (self-funding) departments. Fees assessed to parking system users offset costs for the construction, maintenance, enforcement and administration of campus parking facilities. Accordingly, disabled patrons, as all patrons, are assessed fees for their use of campus parking facilities.
